I remember the days of the original Survivor.
What did we watch before these so called reality type shows?
After this one little season...there was no looking back.
Since then television is consumed with who wants to be Paris Hilton's BFF, watching people run tanning salons, and some how getting caught up in who FLAVA FLAV wants to have sex with this month. Every washed up something or other star has ended up somewhere trying to relive their 15minutes of fame. For most of them, that 15 minutes really died 15 years ago. It's pretty sad but I guess I can't imagine it any other way. If I couldn't turn on the tv without learning about Brett Micheals and his love rocks or something like that, my life wouldn't be complete.
My favorite show is really Family Guy. It has been since it's very first run on Fox. But since everyone will write about that show, I'll choose something more creative.
My favorite TV show is quite lame to most people actually, but I see the opportunity in it.
Wife Swap.
Pretty simple. Wives switch families for 2 weeks. One week following the house's rules and the other week making their own.
May sound like a boring show, and I agree, without the built in irony it would be.
Think of the possibilities.
Switching an atheist with a minister's family.
A family of world athletes with a sensitive obese family.
I like this show because when I feel like seeing a little upset in the world...
It delivers.
